This astrophotography tour in Peru will take you to the impressive Ausangate Mountain (6384 mt.), located in the Vilcanota Mountain range, to stargaze the beautiful constellations in the clear night. Kallpa has made it possible for astrophographers to stargaze the beautiful Peruvian skies. You end up doing two treks in the area. Andes Path Peru, will satisfy most demanding and will get unforgettable memories as sumptuous panoramas of high mountain, formidable glaciers and crystalline rivers, turquoise lakes, peaceful pastoral scenes of the herds of spangled and alpacas kept on by Andeans with multi-coloured clothing. This new route, apart from the beaten paths, is a true adventure through a nature preserved and wild, where the only meeting which you make will be.

ITINERARY Ausangate Stargazer Trek
After a long flight, we will pick you up from the airport then transfer you to the hotel for the group, at some time in the afternoon we will give you our trip briefing for our Ausangate Stargazer Hike for each day then we are meeting for dinner:
Pick up from the airport and transfer to the town of Tiahuanaco, 70 km away, at 1:30 hrs. approximately from the top of La Paz to Tiahuanaco (lunch at a local restaurant)
In the afternoon, guided tour of the Tiahuanacu ruins, accommodation in the local refuge (Acapana hostel, double rooms with private bathroom), dinner, night tour of the Tiahuanaco ruins, night photography, (maximum until 9 pm) (it is not possible to climb the Acapana pyramid to take photos, unsafe to walk at night) return to the accommodation.
Departure at 8:30 a.m. Visit to the ruins of Puma Puncu, return to the city of La Paz
Lunch at a local restaurant, accommodation at a hotel in the lower area of the city of La Paz, rest, departure to Valle de las Animas (Scouting), night photography, return to the hotel for dinner. End of our Ausangate Stargazer Trek.
